Idia'Dega, what does the name mean?
Idia means "Mother of the Queen" it is from the Nigeria/Benin area of West Africa. 'Dega is a shortened version of Diondega the Seneca Native American name for Pittsburgh.
*Personal note: Idia is Tereneh's middle name, it was given to her by a family friend, a dancer from Sierra Leone, at the time of her birth in the city of Pittsburgh.

Tereneh Mosley born in Pittsburgh, PA USA. Received her Bachelors in Business from Drexel University. After spending several years in Marketing. She was awarded an international Rotary Fellowship to study overseas. In Kenya she discovered the importance of sustainable design - terms of both production and inspiration. The vision Globalization for Good stems from the idea that sustainable also means sustaining human beauty, arts, design and craft cultures.
